The New Italian Village at Beaches Resort & Spa Turks & Caicos should be completed in Dec. 2008 adding a new concept of luxury to the already popular Beaches Resorts.
The 162 lavishly appointed suites are all 2-bedroom including 1 for kids with bunk beds, Xbox 360 game consoles and a 27\" plasma TV. For large families there are the 18 Imperial suites that sleep up to 12.
Adding to the already 11 restaurants on property will be \"Barefoot by the Sea\" a romantic beachfront setting serving seafood; a real British Pub with traditional fare such as \"bangers and mash\" and local ales; a beaches first - medevial-themed, moat-encircled childrens section complete with Sesame Street dining companions.
The existing Pirates Island has been updated with pools for tots where they can climb on sea creatures or crawl with marine friends; 7 new slides for the tweens & teens to hurtle down 300 feet of slippery fun; unleash water barrages with water cannons or surf and boogie in the cool surf simulator.
The 21 and under dance club - Liquid - designed as an under-water oasis with a DJ to keep the action going.
When mom & dad want \"alone time\" they can take the kids (6 to 12) to the new Pirate & Mermaid-themed Kids Kamp and the younger ones to Camp Sesame.
Coming this summer to a Beaches near you is \"kickin it on the waves\" a combination of waterskiing, snowboarding and surfing, bring the kids to learn how.
